SIE Neftehim, LLC took part in Russian Petrochemical Forum

On May 26-27, 2026, the Russian Petrochemical Forum and the 34th International Exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies” were held in Ufa. Timofey V. Karpenko, Deputy CEO for New Projects of SIE Neftehim, LLC, participated in the event.

At the forum Mr. Karpenko presented a report on the company’s innovative catalysts and their industrial implementation experience at the Russian oil refineries.

The particular attention was paid to C7-cut isomerization technology Isomalk-4® based on the highly active SI-4 isomerization catalyst, which has no analogues in the world. Implementation of this technology allows increasing the production of gasoline that meets all environmental standards. Timofey Vladimirovich used the examples to demonstrate how 2 MTPA of gasoline can be produced additionally from IBP-180 cut on a national scale without increasing the volume of processed crude oil.

The construction of the unit based on Isomalk-4 technology has been already included in the list of national projects of the Ministry of Energy of Russia and it becomes increasingly relevant in the current economic conditions.
