ISOMALK-3™© in Special Focus section of Hydrocarbon Processing magazine

The article about Isomalk-3 technology was published under the heading Optimize the “molecule management” of butanes for transportation fuels and petrochemical applications in Special Focus section of the major international magazine Hydrocarbon Processing.

Isomalk-3 is the only n-butane isomerization technology in the world that does not use chlorinating and other toxic agents. Isomalk-3 butane isomerization technology has entered the market most recently.
SIE Neftehim as a process developer has already implemented four Isomalk-3 projects in China in collaboration with Sulzer GTC Technology, including the unit at the world’s largest butane processing refinery (SINOPEC). Two more units are under construction now.

The article describes in detail the isobutane production process using Isomalk-3 technology and the experience of the units operation, including the experience of integration with different types of alkylation technologies to produce additional isobutane.
