The Order on approval of the implementation plan of the national project “Development of domestic technology for catalytic reforming with continuous catalyst regeneration (CCR) for production of high-quality gasolines”.
On February 9, 2017, the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander V. Novak signed the Order on approval of the implementation plan of the national project “Development of domestic technology for catalytic reforming with continuous catalyst regeneration (CCR) for production of high-quality gasolines”.
The implementation of this project will allow developing domestic ССR reforming technology, constructing the first Russian CCR reforming unit using the catalyst developed by SIE Neftehim, LLC. It is planned to construct the unit at Ilsky Oil Refinery, LLC (Ilsky urban-type settlement, Krasnodar region, the Russian Federation).
The initiators of the project are SIE Neftehim, LLC in cooperation with Lengiproneftehim, LLC and KNGK-Group, LLC. Its development was caused by the fact that most of the Russian units operate in semi-regenerative mode, their thermodynamic characteristics are worse than those of the modern CCR reforming units, as well as by the necessity to reduce dependence on the applied American and French technologies and conversion to domestic catalysts in the furtherance of import substitution objective.
As a result of the project implementation, a positive economic effect will be achieved in terms of reducing the share of catalysts imported from the US and Europe for ССR reforming technology; increasing revenues to the Russian Federation budget due to taxes, excises and other contributions; creating additional workplaces; attracting investment not only in the oil refining industry, but also in the related industries such as mechanical engineering, chemical industry, instrument engineering and construction.
